Chartered on November 30, 1984, the Optimist Club of Stanley Park was sponsored by the Optimist Club of Kitchener-Waterloo. We a part of a world-wide
organization (Optimist International)with the prime objective of working with our youth for the betterment of all. (Motto: "Friend of Youth") Members
generally meet twice a month, the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings, at various locations. One meeting is a "business" meeting while the other meeting is
more social and includes dinner, a "fines" session, and most often, a guest speaker.
